WWE SmackDown Live: Live Spoilers for May 9 from London, England

An early look at the results for Tuesday night’s episode of WWE Smackdown Live.

Much like last night’s episode of RAW, Smackdown Live will also be one of the few shows that is not shown live on the USA Network.  Due to the show being held at the O2 Arena in London, England, and with that, a five hour time difference from here in the states, we have the opportunity to get a jump on the action before it airs. And the action should be aplenty.  Since the roster shake-up on Apr. 10, the blue brand has been firing on all cylinders.  With the acquisitions of United States Champ, Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura, Charlotte, and Sami Zayn, Smackdown Live has a very potentially fun future ahead of it.

Tuesday’s show should be all about getting ready for the May 21 pay-per-view, Backlash.  It has already been announced that on that night at The Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, Randy Orton will defend the WWE Championship against Jinder Mahal.  Mahal, a dark horse who was virtually come out of nowhere to become number one contender, now has the full attention of “The Viper”.  Expect these two to cross paths ahead of their showdown.

It’s also been announced that Kevin Owens will defend the United States title at Backlash against AJ Styles and that The Usos will defend the tag straps against another unlikely opponent in Breezango.  Look for these title programs to take shape tonight as well as the upcoming pay per view debut of Nakamura.  His opponent hasn’t been named yet but the smart money is on Dolph Ziggler.  Will that become official in London?  All this and much more awaits Tuesday’s broadcast.

So if you’re a person who likes to watch the show when it airs or follow the updates during the normal time slot, here is your warning to stop reading.  Ahead are the early spoilers for Tuesday’s Smackdown Live.
