AJ Styles & Shinsuke Nakamura vs Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens

Result: AJ Styles & Shinsuke Nakamura win via pinfall

Rating: 4.25 out of 5 stars

In our main event of the evening, the team of AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura tried to defeat the duo of Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens. From the start of the bell, the action maintained a strong pace which kept the crowd excited for more. Early on, Styles and Ziggler clashed for a brief moment until Nakamura made the tag. Unwilling to brawl with his recent foe, the Showoff tagged in Owens. The crowd grew even more anticipated as a result, as Nakamura and Owens had an intense staredown.

After taking a bit of damage, both Owens and Ziggler were able to target the King of Strong Style. Wearing down the seasoned veteran, neither heel was willing to allow a fresh Styles to be tagged in. Though successful at first, their efforts were thwarted after Nakamura was able to fight back. Entering the fray, the Phenomenal One stayed on the offensive until the heels overpowered him. Similar to Nakamura earlier in the contest, he was damaged by his opponents before managing to make the hot tag.

Towards the closing moments, there was absolute chaos as all four men tried to take control. Styles attempted to end the contest with a Styles Clash on Owens, but Ziggler ended that with a superkick. A dropkick courtesy of Nakamura would send the Showoff packing, which allowed the King of Strong Style to hit the Kinshasa on Owens for the win. The show ends with Nakamura and Styles eyeing each other intently as the MiTB briefcase comes into view.
