Impact Wrestling features the main event to determine a new No. 1 contender. Bruce Prichard announced that the number one contender for the Impact Grand Champion will be determined tonight. It is a triple threat between Ethan Carter III, James Storm, and Magnus. The winner of this match will be a part of the main event for Slammiversary in June.
The Global Force Wrestling Tag Team Championship Tournament continues tonight. Two of Impact’s newest tag teams battle to move on and face LAX next week. Wilcox and Mayweather make up Veterans of War while Fallah Bahh and Mario Bokara have held tag team gold of their own. The advantage must go to Bahh and Bokara because of their tag team experience but VOW won’t back down.

One of the best rivalries in Impact Wrestling has to be the battle between former Wolves brethren. Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards is a feud that has turned personal. Given the relationship between the two, it can be said that it already had reached personal levels. With the two’s wives involved, it makes tonight’s match a tag team encounter.
Josh Matthews makes his decision on a partner for Slammiversary. Last week, Joseph Parks challenged Matthews to a tag team match with Jeremy Borash and he. Tonight, Matthews has vowed to make a decision that will shock the world. Although it was given away weeks ago, the reason for such a return wasn’t given until tonight.
