WWE Battleground 2017: 3 Potential Opponents for Naomi

1. Tamina

Since coming back to the WWE during the Superstar Shakeup Tamina has become the new powerhouse on Smackdown Live. She has used her brute size and strength to become a wrecking machine on the brand.

Aligning herself with Carmella and Natalya, Tamina has been able to score wins against Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Tamina. In fact, Tamina holds a recent pinfall over Naomi in a tag match a few weeks ago.

As the last person to pin Naomi in the ring, Tamina could use this fact to be granted a title match at Battleground. Despite her strength and power, Tamina has never been able to put it all together as she has never won a title in WWE.

She might use this fact as momentum to try and change her past failures at Battleground. Her power would be a great matchup to see against Naomi’s speed. Just like Natalya, Tamina is a veteran who could give Naomi a good match.

Just like stated before with Natalya if WWE plans on keeping the belt on Naomi until Summerslam, Tamina gives them a good option for Battleground, as the two could work a quick program that could give Naomi momentum into Summerslam.

With the company most likely waiting till the biggest party of the Summerslam to see Becky Lynch and Charlotte go for gold, Tamina seems like the perfect choice for Naomi to clash with at Battleground.
