Brock Lesnar retained his WWE Universal Championship against Samoa Joe at Great Balls of Fire. How did the WWE Universe react to the fallout of the match?

The main event of WWE Great Balls of Fire was the much hyped and anticipated WWE Universal Championship match. The bout was between The Destroyer Samoa Joe and the champion The Beast Brock Lesnar. The two baddest men in the WWE met for the first time and it wasn’t a disappointment. Samoa Joe is already a two-time NXT Champion and since being on the main roster he has left destruction in his wake in pursuit of the Universal Championship. Lesnar has not competed since winning the title from Goldberg at WrestleMaina. Joe, much like when he was NXT, is hell bent on becoming the champion. As a result, it makes him very dangerous.

First of all, the match started with a bang as Samoa Joe went on the attack against Brock Lesnar. After catching Lesnar off guard, Joe knocked the champion out of the ring and put him through the announce table.  Next, there was some back and forth action, but it was Joe who was in control for most of the match. He locked in his patented Coquina Clutch a few times, however to no avail. Brock would bounce back, and consequently as promised, sent Joe to “Suplex City.” The Destroyer would not remain a resident there for long as he again locked in his submission hold on Lesnar. Finally, when it looked like The Beast would give into the Coquina Clutch, he mustered enough strength to deliver the F-5 and secure the victory. While Brock Lesnar retained the title how did the WWE Universe respond on Twitter to the win:

The WWE Universe seems pretty happy with the outcome of the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view. Most of all, the fans were excited and pleased with the match between Joe and Lesnar. As one Twitter user stated, sign me up for Joe-Lesnar II.
