WWE will be at the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con, which takes place from July 20 to July 23.
Outside of the wrestling ring, the WWE keeps their presence up across multiple media platforms. This includes movies (The Marine), TV shows (Randy Orton’s appearance in Shooter), autograph signings, Wizard World events, and more.
However, on Thursday, WWE will go to a unique setting to promote its product. The company will be at Comic-Con 2017, which takes place in San Diego, CA. They will be part of the four-day festivities, with a panel to speak on July 20.
At Comic-Con, WWE will have an all-female panel speaking, as the company’s website announced. Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Becky Lynch are set to be part of this one-hour panel. Renee Young will be the moderator.
Mattel will also reveal new products to the audience. The Leader in Sports Entertainment’s Mattel teaser strongly hinted at Banks (The Boss) and Flair (The Queen) as the figures that will be announced:
.@Mattel’s #WWE exclusive at #SDCC this year is not only BOSS, it’s fit for a QUEEN! Check back Thursday, July 20, for the full reveal! pic.twitter.com/pT0VpwmG2L

This all-women panel should promote the growing presence of women’s wrestling, an expansion that began in 2015. It has since built up with longer women’s segments, the removal of the word “divas,” a pay-per-view main event (Hell in a Cell 2016), and the introduction of the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 32.
Banks, Flair, the Bella Twins, Lynch and Bayley all played critical parts in the rise of women’s wrestling and should offer interesting insights into the past few years of their careers.
Regarding Brie Bella, this is her first public appearance since giving birth to her daughter, Birdie. Bella retired from the ring at WrestleMania 32, to start a family with husband Daniel Bryan. She’ll join five other active members of the roster on Thursday, as they’ll take part in a Q&A with the audience.
