John Cena and Roman Reigns made their upcoming match at No Mercy official. Plus, the Raw Women’s Championship was on the line in a SummerSlam rematch.

Previously on WWE Raw, John Cena made his triumphant return to the flagship show. You may not have noticed it with beach ball mania taking center stage for SummerSlam weekend. But the 16-time world champ is taking up residence on Monday nights for the foreseeable future.

In more HOSS based news, Braun Strowman staked his claim for the Universal Championship. Brock Lesnar was fortunate enough to escape SummerSlam with the title. But Braun laid the champ out to open last week’s Raw. Before the night was over, the two were booked in a title match at No Mercy.

This week, another match for No Mercy became official. Cena stated his time on Raw is to challenge Roman Reigns. The two shared words last week, but won a tag team match as partners in the main event – though not without a misstep and some dissension. So of course, they’ll settle their differences at No Mercy.

In addition, Alexa Bliss cashed in her rematch for the Raw Women’s Championship this week. She lost the title at SummerSlam to Sasha Banks, but refused to take on The Boss last week. Instead, it was this week that Sasha looked to break her curse of never successfully defending the championship. Was she successful this time?
