Alexa Bliss will face her toughest test at WWE No Mercy
WWE No Mercy is a handful of days away and the RAW branded show has great steam behind it. Going into the event most fans are going to be talking about the colossal clash of the titans between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman or the generational battle of Roman Reigns and John Cena.
But another match has been gaining momentum as the weeks have flown by. Monday Night RAW’s resident queen of mean, Alexa Bliss, will be defending her women’s championship.
Since her promotion to the main roster, Alexa has been a force to be reckoned with. She not only dominated the women’s division on Smackdown Live but carried that dominance to the RAW roster as well. Bliss has been the constant in the women’s division since her tenure on the main roster began. She is currently a 4-time women’s champion, being the only woman on the roster to win the title for both brands.
In an era where we have seen the championships hot potato back and forth, especially in the women’s division, Alexa has been a pillar of stability. Little Miss Bliss is staring at a mountain of a challenge at No Mercy. She will be defending her title in a Fatal 5-Way match against Bayley, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, and Emma. The championship advantages in a standard match won’t be in her arsenal on Sunday.
Little Miss Bliss reigns supreme

For the women’s division on RAW to continue to grow and solidify itself the title must stay with Bliss. If you take a step back and look at who is on the roster for the red brand, Bliss as champion leads to the most logical storylines. Each woman has their own individual conflict with Bliss. If the title were to switch hands again, the WWE would have to hit reset and create some stories fast.
Sasha recently traded the title with Bliss. Bayley spent the summer battling Bliss. Nia, who was Alexa’s closest confidant and ally, has realized she was being used as muscle. Emma has recently inserted herself into the fray so the slate is clean as of now but the match itself could open a new avenue. On the surface, there are 3 easy roads to follow and each leads right back to Bliss sitting on the throne.
Alexa Bliss calls herself “Five Feet of Fury,” and she is exactly that. Alexa is the epitome of a jack of all trades master of none. She is lightning on the microphone, incredibly athletic in the ring, and has a charisma that is off the charts. She can be the catalyst that takes the women’s division to the next level.

Everyone will point back at the Four Horsewomen as the cornerstones, but Bliss should be right there in the conversation. On Sunday she gets another chance to cement her legacy, and Little Miss Bliss will aim to do just that.
