Chris Jericho ‘Alpha Club’ Shirts Available At Hot Topic On Friday
WWE icon Chris Jericho will have a match in NJPW at Wrestle Kingdom 12, as he will take on Kenny Omega for the IWGP United States Championship. In preparation for the big fight, Jericho has a new shirt out that pokes fun at Omega’s stable.
Kenny Omega may be one of the biggest stars in wrestling today, but he will be going up against a man who has built an even bigger brand. Chris Jericho, the man of many nicknames and even more holds, will try to steal the IWGP United States Championship from “The Cleaner” at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 12 – a show with a card that is already beyond stacked.
There’s no doubt that Jericho is going all-out to promote this match. His social media game has been on-point, and he’s been willing to trade barbs with Tetsuya Naito, whose match with Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship has been years in the making.
But no matter which match you believe is the true attraction at Wrestle Kingdom 12, you have to admit that Jericho/Omega is a huge deal. And it just got bigger, because Jericho is releasing his “Alpha Club” T-Shirt on Hot Topic, which will be available starting on Friday.
That’s a sweet “tee” (he’s wearing it in the tweet above), and I’m sure it will join the Bullet Club’s shirts as Hot Topic’s most popular merchandise. “The Ayatollah of Rock’N’Rolla” has built quite the brand for himself over the years, as he’s the lead singer of Fozzy and has starred in many web series, including “But I’m Chris Jericho”. Heck, he even has a new YouTube channel, which will undoubtedly be involved heavily in the build to this WK12 matchup with Omega.

Right now, Jericho vs. Omega is the biggest story in wrestling, and it’s exciting to see a storyline outside of WWE generating the most traction in the wrestling world. I have no doubt that this match will deliver, and we already saw a glimpse of the drama when Jericho attacked Omega at the NJPW World Tag League Finals.
What do you think of the “Alpha Club” shirt? Will you be buying it on Friday?
