WWE NXT talent Abbey Laith has reportedly been released from her contract, with rumors of two other NXT talents soon to follow suit.

As first reported by Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens, and later confirmed by Pro Wrestling Sheet, NXT talent Abbey Laith has been released from her contract.

It’s unclear why she was released, at the time of this article.

Laith was signed with NXT in Jan. of 2017. Formerly known as Kimber Lee, she signed with the company after a successful five-year stint on the independent wrestling circuit, winning titles in promotions like CHIKARA and SHIMMER. She was featured in the Mae Young Classic, where she picked up wins in the first and second rounds, before being knocked out in the quarterfinals by Mercedes Martinez.

The 27-year-old was featured in mostly live event singles matches and a few battle royals during her time at NXT.

Laith was reportedly given the news yesterday, but has yet confirm the release on social media. As of March 7, Laith was still promoting NXT. However, the tweet below was posted to her Twitter account earlier today, possibly indicating she was indeed released.

Hours after rumors of Laith’s released surfaced, Sage Beckett’s release was also reported by Squared Circle Sirens’ s Casey Michael.

Beckett was best known for her work in TNA as Rosie Lottalove. After retiring, she returned to the independent circuit after losing 127 pounds.

In Jan. 2017, she was signed to NXT, where she first acted as a heel, managing Lana in her fights. Beckett also appeared in the Mae Young Classic, where she was eliminated by Bianca Blair in the first round.

Michael also reported that Demetrius Bronson “might” have been released.

Demitrius Bronson, first a running back for the Seattle Seahawks, later released to injury reserve, signed with NXT in Oct. of 2016 with nine other prospects.

Bronson made his debut at a NXT house show on March 3, 2017 in Crystal River, Florida, where he teamed with HoHo Lun to defeat The Authors of Pain. He made his first televised appearance in Sept. 2017, teaming with Patrick Scott in a defeat to Heavy Machinery.
