Why Seth Rollins Should Win at WrestleMania 34
By Jack Clayton
WrestleMania 34 is set to be a jam-packed card. With so many matches including AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura and The Miz Miz vs Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins, there will be so many match of the year candidates throughout the night.
That second example, The Miz vs Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins, may just steal the show. All three of the competitors some of the best performers on the WWE roster. Miz has proven that he’s one of the best heels ever, while Rollins and Balor’s in ring skills are incredible.
But the real question is who should walk out of New Orleans as Intercontinental Champion? If WWE were to book it right, they’d go with Rollins.
For the past year, Rollins has been part of stellar matches, stellar promos, and stellar angles. Already winning the tag team championships twice in the past year, Rollins showed everyone once again that he’s championship material.

However, the only title that Rollins has yet to win in WWE is the Intercontinental Championship. He’s been in several matches for the title, but never captured the gold. But at WrestleMania, it will finally be Rollins’ time.
For one, it will add him to the ever-expanding list of Grand Slam Champions. The Grand Slam of course is when a superstar wins all four of the main belts in WWE, including a World Championship, a Tag Team Championship, the United States Championship, and the Intercontinental Championship.
Of the three members of the Shield, Rollins is the only member to not become a Grand Slam champion, with Reigns and Ambrose achieving the goal in the past year. Rollins winning would finally make all three members of the Shield a member of the Grand Slam club, which is fitting as all three men have been the faces of WWE for the past few years.

Rollins winning would also allow him to achieve a goal no one else has yet to achieve in WWE. In fact, he would be the first of what will eventually become many to do so. By Rollins winning, he would become the first NXT Champion to become a Grand Slam winner. That is something that not even Reigns or Ambrose can boast about.
Of course, people like Kevin Owens and Balor will more than likely eventually win the honor as well, but Rollins would always be the first. However, Rollins would not be able to be considered a full Grand Slam winner in NXT and the main roster. The only person who could do that would be Neville, who has won the NXT Championship, the NXT Tag Team Championship, and the Cruiserweight Championship already. But seeing as he is on the fences currently with WWE, it is unlikely he will obtain this honor.
But regardless, letting Rollins win the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania would be doing him and the title a great service. Rollins could do great things with the belt throughout the summer, and maybe hold it until SummerSlam.

And if WWE were to play their cards right, they could use this win to create a feud between Rollins and Shield brother Dean Ambrose who could come back as a heel. But for the time being, it is time for the Architect to write his name in history as the next Intercontinental Champion.
