James Ellsworth Has A Podcast Now, So Keep Your Chin Up
Former WWE Superstar and current intergender wrestling aficionado (and World Inter-Gender Champion) James Ellsworth is getting into the podcasting world, which means the wrestling community’s collective takes just got upgraded in a major way.
James Ellsworth didn’t even last a year in the WWE, but his impact was pretty profound, if you ask me. Not only did the master of “No Chin Music”, who really should have taught Dolph Ziggler how to perform a better superkick, teach us that any man with two hands has a fighting chance, but he also helped many of us realize just how brilliant of a promo and wrestling mind Carmella is with their hilarious segments.
Lately, Ellsworth has been busy making a name for himself on the Independent Circuit, whether it’s facing Gillberg, getting his ass beat by some of the most talented female wrestler on the planet, or no-selling offense from Matt Riddle because he, y’know, doesn’t have a chin.
Now, you have even more reason to pay attention to Ellsworth, because the man who once eliminated Braun Strowman at Survivor Series is starting up a podcast.
The Wrestling Perspective Podcast is easily one of the best wrestling podcasts around, and it’s co-hosted by Impact Wrestling’s master of the Canadian Destroyer, Petey Williams, and Dennis Farrell. The two two an incredible job, and their interview with Jeff Jarrett, for example, taught me a lot about the recent WWE Hall of Fame inductee. They have a knack for not only being entertaining, but teaching you more about the business so that you have a better appreciation for the people they interview.
Ellsworth’s podcast, as per an announcement made by Farrell, will be an “early-week podcast” that will be recorded alongside Farrell. The podcast with Williams and Farrell will be done later in the week. Both are weekly podcasts, by the way.
Based on how awesome Ellsworth was in his appearance on Talk is Jericho and in other interviews, his own podcast will also be a Smash Hit. (Oh wait…sorry, that’s Heath Slater’s thing.)
Next: Should The North American Championship Be An Intergender Title?
So yeah, I’m looking forward to Ellsworth’s first podcast, and I have a feeling we’ll be in for some great stories and down-to-earth discussion about the business by someone who is legitimately helping to change the game outside of WWE by promoting different styles of entertainment within wrestling.
