2. Braun Strowman (last week: 3)

Honestly, there’s no reason Braun Strowman can’t be “the guy” in WWE. The company is hell-bent on making Roman Reigns fill that slot, but Strowman has organically put himself in a position to stake a claim to it. He’s super over with the crowd, his talent is unquestioned, and (one hiccup aside) he’s been pretty good on the mic.

This week, he added to his path of destruction by tackling Drew McIntyre into the trophy handed out for winning the Greatest Royal Rumble a few weeks back. Whoops! Plus, he grabbed Finn Balor — his tag team partner — and threw him as a weapon during their match. How do you not push that guy to the moon?

1. Seth Rollins (last week: 2)

Full disclosure: I caught some flak from a few different people in my inner circle for not having Rollins number one last week. Jeez, it’s not like I left him off the list, he was number two! And I felt that Balor winning a match that everyone knew was Roman Reigns’s match to win was more impactful than an open challenge answered by Mojo Rawley. SO SUE ME, PEOPLE.

This week, Rollins moves back to the top spot without a moment’s hesitation. His Intercontinental Title defense against Kevin Owens was, for my money, the best match of the night. By my calculations, that’s the 953rd week in a row that Rollins has been in the best match on WWE Raw (note: my calculations may slightly be off). With the open challenges continuing, I anticipate more weeks at the top for Rollins in these power rankings. You hear that, everyone? You can get off my case now.
