Charlotte Flair Tweets She Would Love To Wrestle Tessa Blanchard
Charlotte Flair is one of the most dominant wrestlers in the WWE, and the same can be said for Tessa Blanchard in Impact Wrestling. When asked by a fan on Twitter whom she would want to face the most outside of WWE, Charlotte responded with an “@” to Blanchard.
At WrestleMania 34, Charlotte Flair successfully defended the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Asuka, ending one of wrestling’s greatest undefeated streaks in history and further establishing herself as “The Woman” in WWE.
Meanwhile, Tessa Blanchard just joined Impact Wrestling at the Redemption PPV, putting herself over on commentary during a match between Kiera Hogan and Taya Valkyrie. After beating down Hogan after her match, Blanchard has started a feud with returning Knockouts legend Madison Rayne, and the two will face off at “Under Pressure” this Thursday night on POP TV.
Blanchard and Flair’s fathers, Tully and Ric, are two of the Four Horsemen, so besides the fact that they are two dominant and bad-ass athletes, they have historical ties. Therefore, it wasn’t a surprise to see Charlotte tweet that out of all the wrestlers outside of WWE, Blanchard is an opponent Flair would love to face.
It’s safe to say that this qualifies as a dream match. Charlotte and Tessa are two of the best in the world, with the confidence to back up their prodigious athleticism and wrestling prowess. Blanchard was turned down by WWE last year after participating in the Mae Young Classic, and while she said that was heart-breaking at the time, things have honestly worked out better for Blanchard, who is on absolute fire in 2018. Plus, it’ll only be a matter of time before WWE comes knocking again.

A match like Blanchard vs. Flair with the history between them, their respective wrestling abilities, and the stage presence that both clear stars have, could honestly main event one of the biggest shows of the year in WWE. That’s how highly I think of these two, and it’s awesome to see that Charlotte would love to face Tessa in the future.
But even though she’s “The Queen”, she has to remember that diamonds are forever.
