WWE Network

Without any need for full on glorification, it’s clear that the WWE Network is the current standard for online streaming packages. For $9.99 per month, wrestling fans are able to enjoy hours upon hours of current content and wrestling action from years ago.

Along with original content like NXT and 205 Live, there’s enough in this platform for anyone who enjoys the mainstream wrestling scene. Intriguing development abound as it seems like the WWE is looking into adding content from independent promotions such as Progress and Insane Championship Wrestling. This is a clear business move that the WWE thinks is in its best interest, but it’s a move that opens the door for their fans to see even more exceptional wrestling content.

As great as the WWE Network is today, there’s still an opportunity for it to grow and improve as a platform. The addition of the UK brand, the rumors of an all-women’s brand and tournaments such as the Mae Young and Cruiserweight Classics brings content to this platform that rivals that of what we see on Raw and SmackDown. When adding in their PPV showcases each month, the WWE Network stands out as a must have platform for fans of the mainstream wrestling industry.
