1. Announcement Of Evolution Pay-Per-View Takes Women’s Wrestling To Another Level

The WWE’s women’s division has taken many twists and turns over the years with some being good, but some being bad.  Women’s wrestling has never been higher in the WWE than it has been over the past few years thanks to a crop of talented performers the WWE has never seen before.

The women’s evolution has seen many historic moments over the past few years such as the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match, Elimination Chamber match, Money in the Bank ladder match, Hell in a Cell match, and others.  But last night saw an announcement of historic proportions for the WWE’s women’s evolution.

With the entire roster standing on the top of the stage and Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, and Triple H standing in the ring, the women’s evolution reached another level.  It had been rumored for a while now, but Stephanie made the announcement that for the first time ever, there will be an all-women’s pay-per-view in October named Evolution that will feature over 50 superstars consisting of past, present, and future competitors.

This was a major announcement that was years in the making and it takes the women’s evolution to another level.  Women are now being treated as equals to their men counterparts in the WWE and it’s a sight not many thought they would get the chance to see.  It should be very interesting to see which past superstars compete at the event and the number of dream matches possible is enticing.
