A pair of Ultimate Fighters return to WWE Raw this week, as Ronda Rousey’s suspension is up and Brock Lesnar brings the Universal Championship back to Monday nights.

Previously on WWE Raw, everything was geared towards rendering Extreme Rules pointless. Roman Reigns beat Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens is facing Braun Strowman again, and Seth Rollins earned another Intercontinental Championship match. Oh, and Stephanie McMahon announced the first ever all-women’s WWE pay per view, Evolution, for October.

This week on Raw, it actually looks like more of the same based on WWE’s preview. We’ll get to the big news in just a second, but Finn Bálor vs. Constable Baron Corbin again? We haven’t beaten this into the ground enough yet? And with Seth Rollins facing Drew McIntyre, I’ll bet a steak dinner that McIntyre wins and gets added to the Intercontinental Championship match at SummerSlam.

Alright, no one is paying attention to WWE Raw this week for Bálor/Corbin 72 or whatever. The biggest story heading into Miami this week is the return of the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate hasn’t been seen since the Greatest Royal Rumble in April. With a brand new, yet familiar, challenger in Roman Reigns, Lesnar will be back to, uh, do something?

But Lesnar isn’t the only former UFC champion returning to Raw this week. Ronda Rousey has served out her suspension — including the extension she earned for being the baddest human being on the planet. So Rowdy Ronda is back, with Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss in her sights.

Believe it or not, that’s it for WWE’s preview of Raw this week. But in classic WWE fashion, there’s got to be a bunch more set to happen. Look for Mojo Rawley and Bobby Roode to continue their minor beef. And don’t be surprised if The Revival make their intentions of challenging The B-Team for the Raw Tag Team Championships known before the end of the night.
