Professional wrestling is the most exciting it’s ever been here in 2018, with WWE, NJPW, ROH, and Impact Wrestling firing on all cylinders. The G1 Climax, Slammiversary, Honor For All, and Extreme Rules have given fans memorable moments in July 2018, so let’s take a look at the top 50 moments this month.

NJPW is critically acclaimed for the quality of its matches, and the 2018 G1 Climax has been nothing short of extraordinary, with the likes of Tomohiro Ishii and Kenny Omega reminding fans why they are two of the best in the world.

Meanwhile, WWE continues to be a content-producing juggernaut, churning out quality content each and every week. The production quality of their work never ceases to amaze me, and each of their four main shows offers something unique for every fan. NXT and SmackDown Live were particularly good this month.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t discuss Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary 2018, which could go down as one of the top three Pay Per Views of 2018. From top to bottom, the show delivered, so don’t be surprised to see a couple of Slammiversary matches on this list of 50.

Celebrating wrestling is so important, because it can be easy for the fanbase to get caught up negativity after a bad segment or show. But there’s so much great wrestling across every promotion. Giving fans a glimpse of how good ROH, NJPW, Impact, and WWE are with a top 50 moments list every month is one way we hope to show the wrestling world how blessed we are as a collective fanbase.

This list is in no particular order, but future editions will have the top 50 moments listed in chronological order. I’d like to avoid ranking things from “worst” to “best”, simply because it’s too subjective to rank how meaningful moments are across promotions.

Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy the list, and please, please chime in with anything you feel I missed!
