NJPW: Kenny Omega vs. Hirooki Goto

The IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Kenny Omega has been arguably the MVP of the tournament, thanks to his insane matches with Tetsuya Naito and Hirooki Goto. While his bout with Goto wasn’t quite as extraordinary, it was a legitimate five-star candidate that featured Omega once again working at a remarkable pace.

It’s truly incredible to think that Goto may have had two of the top five matches in the G1 Climax. Seeing Omega putting together five-star-caliber matches in the G1 is no surprise at all, but Goto reminded wrestling fans why he is such an underrated talent on a global scale.

WWE: Randy Orton Is DISGUSTING

There’s a reason why #HeelRandy is one of the most revered characters in this era of professional wrestling, and he once again showed fans why “boring babyface Orton” is just a means to get to this wonderfully disgusting character.

Orton first made his return at Extreme Rules, viciously attacking Jeff Hardy post-match after Hardy dropped the United States Championship to Shinsuke Nakamura in shockingly quick fashion.

However, Orton wasn’t done there. Just when it seemed like Hardy had won the US Title back from Nakamura in the main event of the subsequent episode of SmackDown Live, Orton interfered. He didn’t just pull Hardy out of the ring to cost The Charismatic Enigma, he absolutely brutalized him.

To say it was uncomfortable would be a massive understatement. It was beyond grotesque. Orton used the steel steps, the announced table, and an Elevated DDT onto the outside to maim Hardy. And speaking of maim, check out what Orton did to Jeff’s ear.

He is a disturbed man. And I can’t get enough of it.
