205 Live has been on the airwaves over at the WWE Network for the better part of two years now. Viewership comes and goes, despite the quality of the show. How can that be fixed?

205 Live premiered to hot anticipation following the conclusion of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic. At the time, such a tournament taking place on WWE soil that highlighted international wrestlers from several different promotions was unprecedented. To discover that a number of these same stars had been signed and will compete weekly on the biggest wrestling streaming service in the world made us all excited to see how it would play out.

It didn’t take long before we found out that it wouldn’t play out well. At all.

Despite being added to the roster, the Cruiserweight division would seldom appear on Monday Night Raw, and when they did, they would often wrestle in front of crowds to deathly silence. Sometimes, the Cruiserboys would be completely absent from Monday Night Raw episodes.

Now, they never appear on Raw anymore, and are lucky to ever appear on the Pre-Show, just as they were on this Sunday’s SummerSlam Kickoff with Cedric Alexander defending the Cruiserweight Championship against Drew Gulak. Too bad the masses don’t care.

Which is a shame because since the show’s rebranding in the wake of the Enzo incident, 205 Live has consistently delivered some of the best wrestling matches on WWE television. The problem is that not enough people care enough to check it out. Why? Because WWE isn’t giving us a reason to care or see 205 Live as must see TV.

There’s still time to change that, and here’s how to make 205 Live relevant.
