Impact Wrestling Has Classy Message For All In
Tonight at 6 p.m. ET, All In 2018 will begin its kick-off show, which airs on WGN America and is referred to as the “Zero Hour”. Several Impact Wrestling talents will appear at All In, and before the show started, the official Twitter account sent its best wishes to Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks, and everyone involved.
Impact Wrestling has been a resurgent promotion in 2018, as various wrestling companies are doing their best to show the fans that there’s much more out there than just WWE. Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks created All In as a strong statement on the health of professional wrestling in 2018, and today’s sell-out show at the Sears Center in Chicago figures to be one of the most exciting shows of the year.
All In has already been a success, in the sense that 10,000 people bought their tickets, and the resulting hype has led to an enormous spectacle of wrestling goodness. Conrad Thompson’s Starrcast has brought so many wrestling media types and former wrestling stars together in one giant festival before All In.
That said, the ultimate test will be the response to the actual show, which takes place tonight. Everyone should be hoping for All In to meet or exceed expectations, because it will only help wrestling as a whole.
Impact Wrestling sent the above, classy response towards the people in charge of All In and everyone involved. There are so many great wrestlers on the card, and Impact made sure to acknowledge its best and brightest. The likes of Tessa Blanchard, Rey Fenix, and Pentagon Jr. are featured in the most important matches on the card.
Tessa is one of four women competing in the only women’s match at All In, Pentagon will take on perhaps the most decorated wrestler in the world right now in Kenny Omega, and Fenix gets to team up with the legendary Rey Mysterio in a highly-anticipated six-man tag match that will also feature Kota Ibushi on the other side.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
It’s awesome to see how supportive Impact is of professional wrestling outside of its own promotion. They have taken so many steps to interacting with other promotions, whether it’s making Pentagon Jr. their world champion at one point, booking Austin Aries with Ring of Honor, having Madison Rayne compete in Women of Honor, working with promotions around the world, or helping All In be the best show it can be.
I’m excited for tonight, and it sounds like the vast majority of the wrestling world can’t wait to see how everything goes.
