We’ve made it to the last episode of WWE Raw before Hell in a Cell. With six big matches on the pay per view already, what will be added to the show tonight? Follow along with our live Raw review for all the results and highlights!
Previously on WWE Raw, Bobby Roode and Chad Gable became a tag team. Why not? The Shield got arrested for no reason, but were somehow fingerprinted, charged, arraigned, and bailed out within three hours — on a federal holiday, no less! We have new Raw Tag Team Champions, but not who you’d probably think. And the Undertaker showed up to antagonize Shawn Michaels.
This week on Raw, it’s the final stop for Team Red before Hell in a Cell this Sunday. There’s a big Universal Championship match inside the demonic structure, with Roman Reigns defending against Braun Strowman. After the total annihilation Reigns and The Shield suffered last week, can The Big Dog reestablish himself as the alpha of this yard?
Strowman’s new buddies Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre had a busy week last time around, too. Besides directing traffic in the show-ending beatdown, Dolph and Drew won the Raw Tag Team Championships after taking out the announced challengers Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. One would have to think The Revival want payback — as do the former champs, The B-Team. What’s next in the tag division.
How about Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey? She’s scheduled for tag team action this week, teaming up with Natalya against Alexa Bliss and Alicia Fox. Bliss got Nattie to tap out via armbar last week, sending a message to Rousey ahead of Hell in a Cell’s championship rematch. Can Bliss get under Rousey’s skin this week?
There’s so much more to look forward to on WWE Raw this week — Kevin Owens came back to attack MY MAN Bobby Lashley; what kind of shape are Dean Ambrose and Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins in after the attack to close out Raw last week; and Triple H and Mick Foley are both in the house this week. Plus, Hell in a Cell is less than a week away with only six scheduled matches — will more be added tonight?
WWE Raw gets underway on the USA Network at 8 p.m. ET. Follow along with our live review right here for results, highlights, and analysis.
