Episode three of the Mixed Match Challenge was live from Portland Tuesday night. Mahalicia took on the debuting Team B’N’B, and Day One Glow looked to avoid an 0-2 start against Ravishing Rusev Day.

Bayley & Finn Balor vs Alicia Fox & Jinder Mahal (with Sunil Singh)

Mahalicia argue about who should start the match. Alicia wins the dispute and then tries to convince Bayley to tag in Finn. Get it? She’s crazy. Bayley gets a few good roll up attempts, but none are successful. Tag to Jinder. He starts off dominating with various headlocks, but Balor fights back and forces his opponent to tag out. Bayley gets some offense in, but is sent over the top rope after a while.

Sunil catches her and awkwardly asks if she want to “Bollywood dance”. Alicia takes advantage and drives her opponent into the ring post. Alicia gets her back in the ring and dominates. Bayley tries and tries to make the tag, and is eventually successful. Finn runs off a fast paced assault and goes up for the Coup de Grace, but Alicia knocks him off the turnbuckle.

Bayley’s able to tag herself in and gets the advantage back for her team. Sunil checks on Fox, but she’s offended that he would think she needs help so she chases him into the ring. Bayley to Belly to Singh and he rolls to the outside. Finn follows up with a tope and another Bayley to Belly ends it.

This was pretty good. The Mahalicia thing is already starting to feel tired, which sucks considering they were one of my favorite teams on paper. However, on the other hand, Finn and Bayley have loads of chemistry. Somehow they both become more likable just by standing next to each other. The way they play off of one another and work together is great. They really feel like a cohesive unit more so than just about any other MMC team from either season. I can’t wait to see more B’N’B!
