Kurt Angle approaches Drew McIntyre for their match; of course McIntyre is already in the ring after the last segment. Kurt wastes absolutely no time and attacks McIntyre before the bell even rings. When it does, however… game on. Kurt is on top of McIntyre until McIntyre lands a huge headbutt on Angle.

McIntyre gets Angle in an arm-lock, and as Angle looks like he’s countering, McIntyre lands a big elbow. McIntyre gets Angle in that same arm-lock once again. Angle finally counters with the Angle Slam, but McIntyre rolls out of the ring.

McIntyre gets Angle with a neck-breaker as we return from commercial, and clips show that’s pretty much what the scene was for the entire break. McIntyre gets Angle in that good ole’ arm hold again, but Angle is standing up, and he counters it, leading into a German Suplex. There’s another German, and then even a third.

It doesn’t help though, and McIntyre nails Angle with a Claymore, but he lurks on the ropes instead of going for the pin. McIntyre is doing some Randy Orton-level stalking around the ring instead of going for a pin. It’s all Angle needs to lunge at McIntyre, but McIntyre totally starts pummeling Angle, laying maybe ten or so huge hits to Angle’s back.

McIntyre asserts to Angle’s face that he’s nothing, he’s an embarrassment, etc. Angle finally secures the Ankle Lock, but McIntyre fights out. McIntyre lands the Angle Slam… yeah, that’s right. McIntyre then secures Angle in the Ankle Lock (so that’s two of Kurt’s signature moves being used against him), and Kurt taps out. Baron Corbin will still be team captain of Team Raw.
