MLW taped a whole new series of episodes of Fusion this week in Chicago headlined by an MLW World Tag Team Title Match with the Lucha Bros defending against Los Parks. In addition, Low Ki defended the MLW World Heavyweight Title against former champion Shane Strickland.

Those matches will air in the weeks to come on Fusion, but next week we’ll see the Chicago Street Fight between Sami Callihan and Tom Lawlor.

Lawlor is coming off of a huge win against Strickland to determine who would be the face of Major League Wrestling going forward. Despite interference from Low Ki, Lawlor was able to tap Swerve out and take one more huge step forward in his quest for the World Heavyweight Title.

Callihan, as he does, is making life miserable for everybody around him. With no real beef with Lawlor, other than having been eliminated by him in the inaugural Battle Riot, Callihan is working hard for the money of Promociones Dorado. Can Callihan prove effective in a team effort to remove Lawlor from the title picture?

What else will come our way next week on Fusion? The card from Chicago was loaded with some fantastic matches, so we’ll have to wait a week to see which of those matches will make air when Fightland begins to hit the airwaves next week on beIN Sports, YouTube and Fite TV.
