On the eve of Survivor Series, the stars of the black and yellow brand will take center stage for NXT TakeOver: WarGames II. Which wrestlers will walk out of L.A. victorious?

Before the top wrestlers from RAW and SmackDown Live fight one another to determine which brand is superior — which is a faulty concept, but that’s another story — the biggest names from WWE’s developmental branch will look to settle their respective differences at the second annual NXT TakeOver WarGames.

To no one’s surprise, Triple H and the NXT creative have spent the last couple of months brilliantly building to this show with compelling stories and captivating matches. In that time, they have paid off the “Who attacked Aleister Black?” storyline, created a megastar babyface, stumbled upon another great heel, possibly formed an interesting heel faction, and successfully built to the marquee match of the show. They did all this while the wrestlers put forth quality matches on a weekly basis.

WarGames will serve as the final NXT special before the calendar flips to 2019, but this show could also be the final TakeOver for some of the talent before they get called up to the main roster. Consequently, this could have ramifications on the results of the four matches scheduled for Nov. 17.

Who will survive the ominous WarGames match? Who will walk out of Staples Center with championship gold around their waist? Will Aleister Black get revenge on his assailant? Or does Johnny Gargano have something up his sleeve? Well, I obviously don’t know for sure, but here’s what could happen.
