Hijo de LA Park Replaces Jason Cade at MLW Zero Hour
Injuries have been the name of the game for Major League Wrestling as of late with Rey Fenix, MJF, Joey Ryan, Marko Stunt, and now Jason Cade being pushed to the sidelines due to injury. The Zero Hour live broadcast of MLW Fusion on Friday night has been altered once again with Cade being pulled from the four-way World Middleweight Title Ladder Match thanks to a broken ankle.
Days ahead of the huge and first-ever live episode of MLW Fusion, Jason Cade has been pulled from the main event ladder match due to a broken ankle. The ladder match has now shifted more than the teams in WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge and is almost unrecognizable from what was initially announced.
The first draft of the bout featured MJF defending his World Middleweight Title against Kotto Brazil, Jason Cade, and Marko Stunt. Stunt was the first to be pulled from the contest due to injury after breaking his leg at Joey Janela’s Lost In New York.
MJF was listed as a “maybe” after fracturing his elbow with Dezmond Xavier and Andrew Everett added to make the match a potential five-way contest. With MJF’s injury solidifying itself, he was officially pulled from the match to make it a four-way once again.
However, this week saw another change to the line-up as the injured Jason Cade will now be replaced by Hijo de LA Park. Hijo de LA Park is coming off of an unbelievably hot main event World Tag Team Title match teaming with his father, LA Park, in an unsuccessful challenge to The Lucha Bros.
Can the young luchador make his mark as a singles competitor and bring more gold back to Salina de la Renta’s Promociones Dorado? Is this finally going to be Kotto Brazil’s breakout moment? Or, will the first-time appearances of Dezmond Xavier or Andrew Everett lead to a brand new name being skyrocketed to the top of the MLW roster?
