5. How did Shinsuke Nakamura get a rematch for the US title?

Okay, I might be getting ahead of myself here, but it seems like the program between Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura over the United States title will continue on Tuesday nights.

‘The Artist’ attacked ‘The Bulgarian Brute’ and ended up hurting his wife Lana, as the duo was in the ring celebrating ‘The Lion of Bulgaria’s’ US title win from a week ago.

But my question is, when the WWE and the McMahons on air have been making it very clear that there will be no more ‘automatic anything’ going forward, is Nakamura the exception? One night ago, Seth Rollins was denied his claims at a rematch for the IC title. A week ago, the Authors of Pain received the same treatment too. But why does the former US title holder get a rematch?

While the logic for this is questionable, Nakamura did manage to make the most of the opportunity. For the first time in an eternity, he really felt like a hated heel, for almost injuring a woman and then utilizing that incident to get the better of his opponent.

However, creative does need to address this gap in logic and continuity at the earliest. Perhaps, the two will get to fight it off once more in a No DQ match to settle their issues. However, the US title might need a new challenger.
