All Elite Wrestling is working to solidify itself as a true contender in professional wrestler and these names would help strengthen what is a highly anticipated roster.

Announced shortly after the new year, All Elite Wrestling has already become the talk of the industry. The brains that brought us All In are officially throwing their name in the professional wrestling promotion world; and with the backing of Jacksonville Jaguars co-owner, Tony Khan, the company seems to have the financial backing to make an immediate impact.

The roster already includes the names of Cody, The Young Bucks, Britt Baker, Adam “Hangman” Page and Brandi Rhodes. That’s a strong start, but certainly not enough to build a true wrestling company that can eventually challenge the likes of bigger organizations. While many are looking at those that may be disgruntled on the WWE roster; there’s a wealth of talent on the independent scene that could also make their way to AEW. Plus, there’s the continued opportunity for the new company to partner with organizations such as ROH and NJPW; which is already being rumored by a variety of media outlets.

AEW’s infusion into wrestling has already caused companies such as Ring of Honor and the WWE to infuse their developmental contracts; making offers to some that many believe would not get a deal if it wasn’t for their potential in another organization. Either way, competition is always a positive benefit for the employees and those that enjoy the product; in this case, wrestling fans around the world.

Imagine the leaders of AEW sitting in front of a big board like they are members of an NFL team preparing for the yearly draft. Under that description, these are some of the names that should be highly ranked on the AEW draft board. Picking them up would give the organization a group of athletes that can easily put on high-level matches, while giving fans intriguing storylines to follow. The announcement of AEW has kicked off wrestling in 2019 and the arms race is now in full swing. To keep pace, these are some suggestions of talented individuals that should call themselves “Elite.”
