The coach, the trainer, the role model, the inspiration. How ever you look at her, most of the women in WOW owe at least part of their career to Selina Majors. Majors, along with Peggy Lee Leather, trained the majority of Superheroes both currently and previously on WOW TV.

Historically, Selina Majors goes by another name, Bambi. It was under this name that she made her in-ring debut back in 1987. In her 32 years as a professional wrestler, Majors has had prominent roles in the women’s divisions at World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Smokey Mountain Wrestling, accumulating 20 different championship reigns throughout her illustrious career. Amongst these championship reigns, Majors is a 3 time NWA Women’s Champion.

Most recently seen with her niece Jessie Jones, Selina brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to combat, and will use this to further her and her niece’s career. As of right now, however, the WOW World Title has eluded them both, despite no lack of effort on Selina’s part.

“The Predator” Jungle Grrrl

  • Debut 10-7-2000 (vs. Terri Gold)
  • record 14-2-3 (0.789)

When Erica Porter was a small child, her parents moved around a lot. Finally, the ended up settling on the edge of the Amazon Rainforest in Colombia. It was here that Erica observed the law of the jungle, kill or be killed. After returning to America, Erica trained at UPW in California, rubbing elbows with Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, and even John Cena!

When Erica came to WOW, she adopted the name Jungle Grrrl and brought the lessons she learned in the jungle to the squared circle, as it is truly a home to the mantra “survival of the fittest.” On March 9, 2003, Jungle Grrrl ended the World Title reign of Lana Star, and began her own record setting reign as World Champion, holding the title for exactly 1,300 days!

As the saying goes, however, all good things must come to an end. Prepared to defend her title against The Beverly Hills Babe on season four, episode nine, the surprise return of Santana Garrett changed the match to the first ever triple threat match in WOW history. Unfortunately for Jungle Grrrl, Garrett pinned BHB to win the match, and the WOW World Title.

Now, as season five gets set to begin on AXS TV, this mother of two will look to ascend her throne once again, and take her place as Queen of the Jungle.
