#2 – Holidead

Debuting for the company back in 2016, Holidead gained her first opportunity to show the WOW television audience what one half of the Twister Sisterz could do in and out of a wrestling ring. The mind games and face paint tell of a lost soul who, by her own admission, “Represents the dark side.” and “Wrestles demons in and out of the ring.”

Holidead’s television debut came against Azteca this week, and without a doubt, these two women showed exactly what professional wrestling is supposed to look like. In their eight minute match, these two women told a great wrestling story, with Holidead focusing on the back and lower body of Azteca, nearly getting submissions and pitfalls time and time again.

With Holidead’s and Azteca’s four years of experience each, we could be looking at two major stars in professional wrestling in the near future. And speaking of her opponent…

#3 – Azteca

The other half of the best match of the week, Azteca made her WOW debut just two weeks ago, in a losing effort against Jessie Jones. Looking for her first win in WOW, Azteca wouldn’t allow the mind games of Holidead to affect her focus, or determination to get a win. As stated above, most of the match was focused on Holidead attacking the back and lower body of Azteca.

Eventually, she made a comeback, and the crowd, who had been chanting “Azteca” nearly the entire match, exploded. This comeback was short lived, as Holidead cut her off. This built again to another comeback, capped off by Azteca hitting a delayed Canadian Destroyer to pick up her first victory, and major crowd support.

With as little experience as she has, Azteca (Gisele Shaw) looks to be blossoming into a major star in professional wrestling, and will be so sooner, rather than later.
