An unsuspecting Pro Wrestling EVE crowd were greeted with the terrifying spectacle of Bloody Undead Bride Su Yung, as the Impact Wrestling star made her surprise debut at last night’s Global Women Strike 2 show.

The nefarious Su Yung, a former Knockouts Champion in Impact Wrestling, interrupted crowd favourite Session Moth Martina in grand style, silently menacing the terrified Martina as she cowered in the corner. Fortunately for Martina, Ace of EVE Charlie Morgan was on hand to take Su Yung on.

Charlie Morgan might be fearless, but Su Yung is dangerous. The match quickly devolved into chaos as Morgan and Yung brawled into the crowd. Chairs, beer cans and Kendo sticks were employed as the pair fought to take one another down, but Su’s wiliness saw her secure the upper hand, taking Morgan out with a face full of bright red mist and a well-timed Panic Switch.

This was an incredibly exciting debut on a night of firsts, with Mercedes Martinez and Mary Apache stepping into the EVE ring for the first time. But Su took the crowd by surprise, and the sheer strength of reaction suggested hers was a very welcome debut indeed.

Pro Wrestling EVE’s yearly Global Women Strike events strive to bring the finest international talent to their Resistance Gallery home, and their upcoming International Women’s Day two-nighter promises to showcase women wrestlers from across the globe. Already confirmed is the legendary Command Bolshoi, whose final EVE match will mark her pro-wrestling retirement. And Joshi legend Leon will be making her EVE debut, competing on both nights.

It remains to be seen whether Su Yung will return to EVE anytime soon, though it’s clear we haven’t seen the last of her. Taking out Charlie Morgan is a hell of a way to make a statement. What exactly the Undead Bride wants is uncertain, but if her aim was to put the EVE locker room on notice, then consider it mission accomplished.
