One of the headlining matches at WWE WrestleMania 35 on April 7th will be the WWE Universal title match featuring the champion Brock Lesnar taking on Seth Rollins. Rollins has been under the radar following his Royal Rumble victory in January to secure this opportunity for the Gold on the biggest stage of them all.

Seth Rollins had an incredible 2018, featuring some of the most memorable matches on the WWE main roster.

His amazing run started with a performance for the ages on a February episode of RAW. He managed to last 65 minutes in a gauntlet match, defeating Roman Reigns and John Cena before ultimately falling to Elias.

You read that right, he defeated the 2 most marketable male wrestlers in the WWE back to back in one match.

Rollins would follow that up with an Intercontinental championship run and ended his year by defeating Shinsuke Nakamura in a cross promoted champion versus champion match at Survivor Series. His charisma and in ring ability is near the top of the charts in the WWE. To see Rollins win the Royal Rumble was not a surprise.

It’s time to see ‘The Architect’ get his just due once again and become the WWE Universal champion. So why has Rollins been under the radar?

Brock Lesnar and his usual inactivity is a primary reason. Lesnar’s title defense will be his second of the year at WWE WrestleMania 35. Lesnar is a big match competitor, usually reserving appearances and matches for headline pay per views against the best of the best in the WWE.

Yet, we can only see so many Paul Heyman promos declaring his client and advocate, the reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Champion before the shtick begins to run it’s course. (No matter how good Heyman is on the microphone).

Without Lesnar wrecking havoc on a weekly or even bi-weekly basis, wrestling fans tend to forget there is a champion on the main brand.

Fear not, here are 3 reasons why Seth Rollins should win at WrestleMania. Bringing the WWE Universal title back to a place where it rightfully should be week after week, on the USA network every Monday night.
