WWE Raw comes to the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC tonight for the final episode before WrestleMania 35. We’ve got three huge tag team matches to look forward to, and several huge confrontations between superstars that will clash this Sunday.

WWE Raw comes to the nation’s capital tonight, which also happens to be the hometown of Batista. The multi-time champion will return to WWE Raw tonight only six days before he collides with Triple H in a No Holds Barred Match at WrestleMania 35. On top of that, Triple H has been pushed to put his career on the line that night. We can expect some final efforts tonight from The Cerebral Assassin and The Animal to get in the minds of their opponent and gain an upper hand going into WrestleMania.

Perhaps the most anticipated part of WrestleMania 35 will be the WWE Raw Women’s Championship Triple Threat Match which is the night’s main event, and we’ll get news about that tonight. Stephanie McMahon is set to make an announcement regarding the match, which is likely going to be related to Charlotte Flair capturing the SmackDown Women’s Championship last Tuesday. There has been talk between fans about a unification match or both titles being on the line where the winner would defend each on the respective brand, but we should finally get some answers tonight.

It won’t be the only task for these women tonight, as they’ll also be challenged to put their differences aside. Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey, and Becky Lynch must work together tonight in a six-woman tag team match against The Riott Squad. Even with the dysfunction between the three, a win for Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, and Liv Morgan tonight would go a long way to putting them in the conversation for a singles or tag team title shot down the line. Most importantly, Flair, Rousey, and Lynch will be looking to garner momentum over their opponents heading into Sunday.

More from Raw

In the tag team division, we’ve got a title match on the men’s side and a huge eight-woman tag team match on their side. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection will defend the titles on Sunday in a Fatal 4-Way against The IIconics, The Divas of Doom, and The Samoan Slaughterhouse. Tonight, we’ll see Banks and Bayley team with the freshly reunited Beth Phoenix and Natalya to take on The IIconics, Nia Jax, and Tamina. Whichever team stands tall tonight will have a strong chance of repeating that this Sunday.

On the men’s side, The Revival will be defending the WWE Raw Tag Team Titles against Aleister Black and Ricochet. The NXT duo has garnered two victories over the champions in recent weeks, but their last came via disqualification after former champions Bobby Roode and Chad Gable interfered and attacked The Revival. If Black and Ricochet can win tonight, they’ll be on the cusp of history. This Friday at NXT TakeOver: New York, they challenge War Raiders for the NXT Tag Team Titles. Can they walk into WWE Raw next week as dual champions?

We’ll also get a rare WWE Raw appearance tonight by Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Seth Rollins had a war of words with Paul Heyman last week that literally knocked Heyman to the ground. Just six days before he must defend his title against “The Beastslayer,” we’ll see how Brock Lesnar reacts to Seth’s recent comments. Whether mental or physical, both will be looking to deal damage tonight before they get to WrestleMania 35.

Finally, one of the most recently constructed yet still very personal matches at WrestleMania 35 will see Roman Reigns clash with Drew McIntyre. Not only did McIntyre attack Reigns again last week, but he then proceeded to demolish Dean Ambrose in a Last Man Standing Match. This will be Roman’s final opportunity to gain some momentum before he battles The Scottish Psychopath, but things have not gone in The Big Dog’s favor in recent weeks.
