SmackDown Live tonight saw the continuation of the WWE Superstar Shake-Up, and there were lots of important moves. However, no move was bigger than that of “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns, and there are some exciting possibilities.

As the final televised move of the WWE Superstar Shake-Up, SmackDown Live gained a massive name in the form of Roman Reigns. Since the brand split was reinstated in 2016, Roman Reigns has been a foundational member of WWE Raw. That’s all been changed now.

When “The Big Dog” made his first appearance on SmackDown Live since before the brand split, his words were quite clear. “SmackDown Live is my yard now.” The words hit hard, and now questions are swirling about possibilities for Reigns on Tuesday nights. There are a lot options, but these five possible feuds stand out as the best and most exciting options.

1. Buddy Murphy

Roman Reigns wasn’t the only big acquisition for SmackDown Live tonight, as 205 Live‘s Juggernaut has moved on to bluer pastures for his Tuesday nights. Known as 205 Live’s “Best Kept Secret,” Buddy Murphy went on to have one of the most fantastic Cruiserweight Championship reigns we’ve seen since the title was revived at the WWE Cruiserweight Classic. Right on the edge of the 205-pound weight limit, Murphy became an agile powerhouse on a brand filled with high-flyers.

It would be an interesting change of pace for Reigns, who has primarily faced larger stars like Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman, and Brock Lesnar in his most recent rivalries. In this rivalry, Roman Reigns could show his skills against a much different opponent, while also raising up Buddy Murphy as he nestles into the main roster. Murphy wouldn’t even need to pick up the win over Reigns to come out better in this feud.
