4. The Best Friends (Chuckie T and Trent Baretta) vs Angelico and Jack Evans

In recent ‘Being The Elite’ episodes, Trent Baretta and Chuckie T have been clamoring to appear on the ‘Double or Nothing card in tag team action. The Young Bucks originally had planned for ‘The Best Friends’ to appear in the Casino Battle Royale. After threatening The Young Bucks children, Matt Jackson finally gave in to their demands and booked them in a tag team contest at AEW Double or Nothing.

Their opponents are Angelico and Jack Evans. Angelico has appeared all over the World, most recently in What Culture Pro Wrestling. He is known for his work in AAA, teaming with Jack Evans. They are known as  Los Güeros del Cielo or “The Sky Blondes” in the Mexican federation. Evans has appeared in Ring Of Honor, Lucha Undergorund and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Evans was a PWG tag team champion with NXT superstar and Undisputed Era member Roderick Strong.

All Elite Wrestling has stated that they want to put an emphasis on the tag team division. Most companies ignore their tag teams, putting them on the back burner and featuring solo acts. These 2 teams along with The Young Bucks, Lucha Bros, SoCal Uncensored and Private Party are going to jump-start the AEW tag team division and make it must see television going forward.

Both of these teams are evenly matched, they possess a decade plus of wrestling experience. While both teams have earned tag team championships in other federations, they will be looking to get a leg up in AEW. While ‘The Best Friends’ have been eyeing this event for months, they were ultimately rewarded with a match vs a seasoned tag team. I am going to call for an upset here and choose Angelico and Jack Evans to steal the victory in the end.

Winners: Angelico and Jack Evans
