Jack Evans was recently announced as joining the All Elite Wrestling roster.

Jack Evans graduated from the Hart Brothers Pro Wrestling camp in 1998. Evans made his professional wrestling debut in September 2000 at Matrats, a promotion run by Eric Bischoff. He competed at several promotions afterwards before signing with Ring of Honor.

In 2003, Jack Evans arrived at Ring of Honor to compete in a Scramble Cage Melee Match. He debuted to the ROH audience his famous 720-degree moonsault off the cage. A year later, Evans joined the faction Generation Next, which included Austin Aries, Alex Shelley, and Roderick Strong. They feuded with Ricky Steamboat, Steve Corino, Second City Saints, Ricky Reyes, Rocky Romero, Colt Cabana and others.

Evans eventually competed in Impact Wrestling, then TNA. In 2004, he joined Team Canada and competed in the World X-Cup Tournament. Team Canada also included Petey Williams and Johnny Devine, the team was scouted and put together by Teddy Hart.

Jack Evans later went to Dragon Gate before starting his tour with Japan in 2006. This experience would heighten the in-ring talent of Evans, leading him to become a member of Blood Generation, led by Dragon Gate veteran CIMA.

When Wrestling Society X debuted on MTV, Evans defeated Matt Sydal in the show’s first match. Evans continued to win, going on to defeat Scorpio Sky. The show only lasted 10 episodes, with one going unaired.

As 2008 approached, Jack Evans signed with AAA. He became part of the unit La Legión Extranjera. He then went on to team with Teddy Hart and the two nearly won the AAA World Tag Team Championship. Evans’s time in AAA showed great promise and determination from him as an in-ring competitor. He then participated in the promotion’s Cruiserweight Championship tournament.

Lucha Underground would become one of the highlights of Jack Evans career. May 13, 2015 was the night of his debut. He sadly lost on his debut to Aero Star. However, the match would become one of the most entertaining and high-flying matches to be shown on Lucha Underground. He went on to face competitors such as Prince Puma, Rey Mysterio, Dragon Azteca Jr., Matanza Cueto, and others. He left from the company in April 2018.

Evans returned to several promotions such as PWG, AAA, and Ring of Honor before signing with All Elite Wrestling. Jack Evans has held several championships such as AAA Cruiserweight Championship, AAA World Tag Team, Dragon Gate Open the Triangle Gate Championship, AWA Washington Heavyweight Championship, Lucha Underground Trios Championship, PWG World Tag Team Championship, and others.
