The upcoming WWE 2K20 game will feature a showcase mode dedicated to the Four Horsewomen, and here are just five of the many possible matches that we’d like to see.

WWE 2K20 will feature Becky Lynch on the cover alongside Roman Reigns, making her the first woman to be a WWE 2K cover star. The game will also finally allow players to create a woman in its story mode.

But there’s one more feature wrestling fans are excited about, and that’s the showcase mode for this year’s game. Since Becky is on the cover, it’s only fitting that the mode centers women’s wrestling. The mode will be themed after all of the Four Horsewomen, allowing users to relive a number of instant classics involving these four living legends.

There are so many matches to choose from, and hopefully this ends up being WWE 2K’s most extensive showcase mode yet. Here are just five suggestions for possible matches in the mode, with all of them involving ONLY competitors from the Four Horsewomen of WWE.

1. Both Sasha Banks vs. Bayley title matches

These are no-brainers. The rivalry between Sasha Banks and Bayley in NXT still stands as the brand’s greatest feud of all-time, even above the likes of Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa or Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens. Banks and Bayley pushed women’s wrestling to new heights in WWE and put together two classics at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn and NXT TakeOver: Respect.

In general, the TakeOver: Brooklyn match is rated more highly, but both matches are masterpieces that are among the best in this era of WWE. What makes TakeOver: Respect especially appealing for a showcase mode in WWE 2K20, however, is the fact that it’s a very well-done Iron Man match with a lot of storytelling layers. You know, it’s the kind of match that was made for replaying in a video game.

2. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch, Last Woman Standing

This was the best match of 2018 in WWE, hands down. The Evolution Pay Per View was WWE’s best PPV of the year and was strong from top to bottom, but Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch was absolutely the Match of the Night. WWE fans saw two rivals on the level of Rock/Stone Cold putting together their masterpiece on a stage that needed them, and this match was as brutal as anything wrestling fans saw that year.

As we’ve seen with AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura earlier that year, Last Man Standing matches don’t always land. Sometimes the stipulation makes the matches drag on and on, and it can be difficult to tell the right story using this format. Charlotte and Becky had no such issues, providing callbacks and OMG moments while finding the exact right pacing.

Last Man Standing matches are PERFECT for video games, and Charlotte vs. Becky is one of the best of these types of matches in wrestling history. I have a feeling this one would be a fan favorite for WWE 2K20 gamers.
