On Twitter, WWE Superstar Heath Slater teased a duet with Mariah Carey that will never happen. Even though it absolutely, positively needs to happen.

It has been a minute since we have seen the One Man Band himself Heath Slater on WWE TV, but rest assured that everyone’s favorite member of 3MB – no offense, Drew McIntyre or Jinder Mahal – is still alive and well. He’s just been taking care of his kids. Yes, Heath Slater’s really got kids. It wasn’t just a t-shirt. He does not have a whole heap of 100,000 kids as he may have led us to believe onscreen, but he does have two kids, which is more than enough if you ask some folks.

More recently, he tweeted out a video of himself singing along to one of Mariah Carey’s biggest hit record’s “Always Be My Baby.” It was just a simple, cute family video and I’m sure Slater did not expect it to be much more than that, even when he tweeted at Mariah Carey asking for a duet. It was all in good fun, but then it turned into a little bit more than that when he actually got a response from the pop legend herself.

Okay, it was still nothing more than all in good fun from that point forward, with Carey retweeting right back that she’s singing along with the kids. If one thing is for certain, it is that the world needs a duet between Slater and Carey.

Why does the world “need” this collab, you may be asking yourself? Other than to satisfy my own inner, selfish desires, no particular reason. In fact, the world does not “need” these two on a track together at all; “need” is a strong word. But as far as how badly I just personally want to hear it, I want it SO bad.
