After a successful debut of AEW Dynamite on TNT, we take a look at the records and momentum in AEW to see who tops the Power Rankings within each division.

With the first episode of AEW Dynamite in the books, we’re starting to get our first understanding of what the landscape of each division will look like. While it’s still a bit early, things are taking shape and some clear leaders are emerging with strong wins pushing them to the top of the pack.

In this first installment of our weekly AEW Power Rankings, we’ll take a look at the top five male singles competitors, top five female singles competitors, and top five tag teams. Records are specific to the division, so trios wins wouldn’t count for a tag team, and tag team wins wouldn’t count for a singles competitor, and so on.

There is potential for a power ranking of trios in the future, but without titles for them or more established trios, that’s something that will have to wait. Without further ado, let’s first take a look at the women’s division where we just crowned the inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion.

AEW Women’s Singles Division Power Rankings

Honorable Mention: Bea Priestley (0-0-0) & Awesome Kong (0-1-0)

Priestley and Kong fit into this week’s honorable mention based purely on momentum. While their records don’t yet justify a place in the rankings, both look poised to change that in the coming weeks.

5. Nyla Rose (0-3-0)

Coming in at fifth is Nyla Rose, who was very close to becoming the inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion on the last episode of AEW Dynamite. Rose is technically winless, as her win in the Casino Battle Royale doesn’t apply to her singles record. However, she retains momentum after a dominant attack on Riho after the match had to be stopped by Kenny Omega.

4. Allie (1-1-0)

Next in line we have Allie with one singles win and one singles loss. The win came on the pre-show for Fyter Fest, with her defeating “The Librarian” Leva Bates. Unfortunately, Allie’s momentum was halted by a loss to Brandi Rhodes at Fight for the Fallen.

3. Brandi Rhodes (1-0-0)

Still carrying the momentum of her victory over Allie, CBO Brandi Rhodes comes in at third in these inaugural rankings. Simply being undefeated, and having a head-to-head win over Allie, give her the edge.

2. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (1-0-0)

Coming in second is Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. While we haven’t seen her in singles action since Double or Nothing, Baker still has a strong win from a Four-Way that also included Awesome Kong, Nyla Rose, and Kylie Rae. Her presence on commentary during the AEW Women’s World Championship match also firmly showed her in the hunt.

1. Riho (3-0-0)

At the top, as it should be, is the reigning AEW Women’s World Champion. After a devastating battle with Nyla Rose on the debut of AEW Dynamite on TNT, Riho picked up her third straight singles win to capture the title. Tack on her Triple Threat victory over Nyla Rose and Yuka Sakazaki, as well as her singles win over Hikaru Shida, and there’s no denying Riho’s place.
