AEW Men’s Singles Division Power Rankings
Honorable Mention: Kenny Omega (1-2-0) [Last Week: Unranked] and Sammy Guevara (0-2-0) [Last Week: Unranked]
Two new names slip into honorable mention this week for the men’s singles division. Sammy Guevara has yet to snag an important singles victory, but an impressive had an impressive tag team win along with AEW World Champion Chris Jericho as a part of the newly formed Inner Circle. Kenny Omega has been winless since July but made his presence felt this week by showing up with a barbed wire baseball bat and barbed wire broom.
5. Jon Moxley (1-2-0) [Last Week: Honorable Mention]
After spending a week in honorable mention, Jon Moxley breaks into the AEW Weekly Power Rankings for the first time right at the number five slot. Moxley built momentum with his attack on Kenny Omega last week, following it up with a strong win over Shawn Spears on Dynamite.
4. PAC (2-0-0) [Last Week: 3]
Despite not being seen in the ring this week, “The Bastard” PAC still made an impact. He joined commentary for the contest between Moxley and Spears, only to ambush an appearing Kenny Omega with a steel chair after the match.
3. Darby Allin (2-1-1) [Last Week: Honorable Mention]
One of two entries that saw huge leaps this week, Darby Allin goes from honorable mention to third place in the singles division. His amazing week began on AEW Dark with a win over veteran CIMA, but he kept that momentum rolling into Dynamite. Allin scored a huge victory over Jimmy Havoc to earn a shot at the AEW World Championship next week. To put a button on things, he attacked AEW World Champion Chris Jericho via skateboard at the end of Dynamite.
2. Cody (3-0-1) [Last Week: 2]
Remaining without a loss as he continues to head towards Full Gear and his AEW World Championship opportunity, Cody kept his momentum going this week by attacking Chris Jericho after the main event of Dynamite. We saw several competitors get involved, including MJF who ultimately showed his loyalty to “The American Nightmare.”
1. Chris Jericho (3-0-0) [Last Week: 1]
At the top of our Men’s Singles Division is still AEW World Champion Chris Jericho. “Le Champion” continued to assert his dominance this week, revealing the name of his faction to be The Inner Circle. Jericho followed that by teaming with Sammy Guevara to defeat Adam Page and Dustin Rhodes in the main event of Dynamite.
