The Jurassic Express (Marko Stunt & Jungle Boy) vs. The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix) (2-1)

During he break, Pentagon called Marko Stunt “Babysaurus” and buried him in English. It was amazing. Marko Stunt managed to hit a few high speed moves, staying ahead of Pentagon and Fenix somehow. Stunt hit a suicide dive, and the only offence that the Lucha Bros have managed up until this point was a superkick on Jungle Boy.

Jungle Boy hit a German suplex, but as he threw Marko at Pentagon, Pentagon murdered Marko with a superkick. Fenix put Marko on the top rope, hit a climbing enziguri and then an armdrag on Jungle Boy. Pentagon picked up Marko Stunt and hit a pumphandle driver for a two count. Pentagon questioned the referee, but Marko did kick out.

Fenix sent Jungle Boy into the stairs while Pentagon hit a low kick to Marko Stunt’s knee. Pentagon continued the beat down on the Fite feed, chopping the crap out of Marko Stunt. Pentagon and Fenix proceeded to beat the life out of Marko for the next few minutes. Pentagon threw Marko over his head with one hand and sent him flying into a super kick by Fenix.

Marko moved out of the way of a corner charge and managed to hit a back kick on Pentagon before making the tag to Jungle Boy. Jungle Boy hit a forearm on Fenix and a reverse DDT on Pentagon. Stunt hit a flying suicide dive on Pentagon while Jungle Boy hit a moonsault/double knees combo to Fenix.

Stunt came off the top rope and hit at a 450 splash on Fenix with a standing shooting star press by Jungle Boy. Fenix kicked out. As Jungle Boy went for a powerbomb on Fenix Pentagon came flying over with a Canadian Destroyer. They absolutely murdered Jungle Boy with a package piledriver for the pinfall victory.

Result: The Lucha Bros

Rating: ***3/4 (3.75)

This was an excellent match, especially with Luchasaurus missing the match because of his injury. The crowd was initially hurt by losing Luchasaurus, but Stunt and Jungle Boy worked so hard to get the crowd into it, and the Lucha Bros did so well in selling for them when they counted. AEW has big future stars in Stunt and Jungle Boy and the act is even better with Luchasaurus.
