This episode of AEW Dark featured a big main event where Private Party and The Young Bucks clashed again, but The Rhodes Brothers & Strong Hearts are involved too.

Taz came out to call the action with Excalibur for this episode of AEW Dark.

Brandon Cutler (0-1) vs. Joey Janela (0-2)

Janela came out to the Jurassic Express’ theme, so oops? Both Cutler and Janela haven’t had much success yet in AEW, despite Janela having excellent matches. Cutler and Janela tried to exchange some basic wrestling with both men showing solid fundamentals. Janela flipped out of a wrist lock twice and then locked on a side headlock.

Janela showed that he wasn’t just a hardcore wrestler, and he out wrestled Cutler a few times, ending with hitting a back-body drop. Cutler hit an enziguri and then a forearm for a near fall. Cutler hit diving forearm for a 2 count. Cutler hit some kicks to the chest while Janela responded with chops. Janela hit a kick to the face and got a two count.

Cutler went for a running leg drop, but Janela dodged. Cutler managed to hit a reverse DDT for a 2 count. Cutler sent Janela into the middle turnbuckle, but Janela cut him off and pulled him into the middle rope before hitting a big lariat. Janela hit a suicide dive and then ran around the ring and hit a diving forearm off the stairs.

Cutler hit a flying enziguri on Janela and then went for a springboard, but Janela cut him off and then hit a top rope brainbuster for the pinfall!

Result: Joey Janela (1-2)

Rating: **1/4 (2.25 stars)

This weeks From Undesirable to Undeniable where Cody interviewed QT Marshall. He told a story about his run in Ring of Honor and his neck surgery and how he overcame his feeling of being undesirable. He is cleared to wrestle, and he will be wrestling in Pittsburgh. It ended with Cody sending him back to work. They should show this on TV.

Peter Avalon bad mouthed all of Philly’s teams, and Leva shushed him.
