Seth Rollins may have burned the Firefly Funhouse on last week’s episode of WWE Raw, but Bray Wyatt’s lovable children’s show is back on SmackDown.
Remember when we were led to believe that Bray Wyatt wouldn’t leave Raw for the supposedly sports-centric WWE SmackDown and that FOX would want nothing to do with either his gimmick or the Firefly Funhouse?
Well, the Firefly Funhouse is back, it’s on SmackDown, and it’s spectacular.
And WWE fans are thrilled that FOX’s Blue Brand has decided to “take a chance” (well, it was more likely a no-brainer, to be honest) on one of wrestling’s most popular segments.
But most of all, fans were happy to see that Ramblin’ Rabbit is alive and well…for now. What’s the over/under on the number of episodes before he dies again?
Oh…uh….yeah…
Ramblin' Rabbit has died almost every episode of #FireflyFunHouse, and we love him for it #SmackDown

Firefly Funhouse was an emotional rollercoaster @WWEBrayWyatt @wwe #ramblingrabbit

Isn’t it always?
Oh, it’s a real place alright. If Seth Rollins can burn it down…
Speaking of which, can we say that Bray Wyatt “redesigned, rebuilt, and reclaimed” Firefly Funhouse? Too corny?
Not the strongest of Firefly Funhouse segments. I think they might just be overexposed now, but I'm still glad to see that the separation between Bray Wyatt and The Fiend continues. #WWE #SmackDown

As always, Tom Colohue has a great take on the situation. Wyatt and The Fiend are the same person but also not.
LMAO at Undertaker's theme being played on the organ for Ramblin Rabbit's funeral. #FireflyFunhouse #Smackdown

That was another wonderful touch!
Bray Wyatt's ability to recover from awful creative decisions is the stuff of legends

100% this. Bray has managed to bounce back from just about anything, including the burning down of Firefly Funhouse. And like with his past bounce-backs, he looks even better coming out the other side. Sure, this wasn’t the best of the Firefly Funhouse episodes, but Wyatt just about any of these segments is a good one.
It will be interesting to see how the Funhouse progresses on SmackDown, especially when the Rollins vs. Wyatt feud fully runs its course. There’s still so much more potential for this show, and Wyatt continues to produce elite-level work. SmackDown will want to keep taking full advantage of his creative gifts, in addition to everything Wyatt has to offer as The Fiend.
