We got another “Who is the ‘?’ mark?” vignette, before transitioning to a pre-recorded Marti Belle promo, where she stated her intentions to challenge her friend Allysin Kay for the Women’s Title.

Back live, Belle made her way to the ring while a video played showing Kay’s post-match promo from two weeks ago, where she said that Ashley Vox was good but not good enough to win her belt. As Vox came out, Kay joined Marquez at the dais.

She told Belle that she loved her and was happy that she wanted to earn another title shot because she doesn’t think Belle is ready for one. She more or less said the same to Vox and wished them both luck.

Marti Belle vs. Ashley Vox

Both ladies lockup to start. Bell then snapmared Vox to the mat, following up with a kick and neckbreaker. A bicycle kick sends Vox to the corner, but she moves out of the way of a charging Belle, discombobulated her with her agility and hit a front dropkick for one count.

Vox tried to apply a hammerlock, but Belle backed her into a corner, hit a running forearm, tripped Vox up, and a running hip attack for a nearfall.

Belle then hit two of the Three Amigos before transitioning into a Russian Leg Sweep to score another two count. As Belle looked to pick Vox up, however, Vox picked Belle’s ankle and hit a senton for a nearfall. Belle quickly answered with a discus forearm for another nearfall. She whipped Vox into the corner again and hit another running forearm, but came up empty on the opposite end, leaving her open for a Vox headbutt.

Vox then goaded Belle into the corner only for Vox to avert trouble again. She went for her headscissors, but Belle brushed it off, delivered a forearm to the back and attempted her Hells Bells finisher. Vox tried to counter into her submission hold, but Belle got out and tried Hells Bells again. But Vox countered again, this time into a jackknife cover for the win. Kay, who watched from ringside, nodded her head in approval.

Winner: Vox via pinfall

Rating: *3/4. I liked this match. Belle looked a lot better this week working with Vox, who appears to be a good hand between the ropes. The finish was good too, as both women tried to apply their finishers and Vox going to Plan B when that failed.

After the match, Thunder Rosa speed-walked past the victorious Vox and slid into the ring! As drums played, she offered her hand to Belle in the ring, but Belle left her hanging and took her leave.

We got a Tony Faulk “Waffles & Tire Irons” commercial, this time with a “Buy 3 waffles, get 4 tire irons for free” offer. It sounds like a good deal.

Galli and Cornette then confirmed that the main event would feature Aldis, Cabana, and Ken Anderson against Storm and whoever he picked (like Evolution, it’s a mystery). We then see Aron Stevens, in his Damien Sandow robe, come out for his debut match. Ricky Starks was already in the ring.
