WWE have finally managed to bring a women’s match to Saudi Arabia. That match will be Lacey Evans vs. Natalya tomorrow night at the Crown Jewel Pay-Per-View.

Today’s media event for Crown Jewel offered a few things to hype up tomorrow’s PPV, including a weigh-in between WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and his challenger, Cain Velasquez. But the biggest news coming out of the press conference was the news that the company will finally be allowed to bring a women’s match to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. That match will be Lacey Evans vs. Natalya and will take place tomorrow night at Crown Jewel.

Last week, it was reported exclusively by Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda that Vince McMahon was still adamant about adding a women’s match to the Crown Jewel despite past efforts going awry. As some readers may recall, he brought Alexa Bliss and Natalya onto the trip to Saudi Arabia for Super ShowDown back in June in hopes of convincing the country’s authorities to let the women wrestle. As had been the case for previous events held in Jeddah, the country’s regulations prevented this from happening.

As reported elsewhere, yesterday, Evans, Natalya and (interestingly enough) Lana had been brought with the rest of the roster on the trip to Saudi Arabia in a similar fashion. Only this time, it appears that whatever convincing that the WWE Chairman of the Board did for the Saudi Arabia authorities seemed to work.

Now, Lacey Evans vs. Natalya joins a card that includes the aforementioned Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez for the WWE Championship; a 20-man Battle Royal; a Tag Team Gauntlet Match; native hero Mansoor vs. Cesaro; and Seth Rollins vs. The Fiend in a Falls Count Anywhere Match (which WWE assures “CAN’T BE STOPPED FOR ANY REASON”) for the Universal Championship.
