1. Jon Moxley

Similar to PAC and Adam Cole, the Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega rivalry has been gestating ever since Moxley dropped Omega onto a giant stack of poker chips at ‘Double or Nothing’.

What followed was Moxley’s tour of Japan, his absolute mauling of Joey Janela and the unfortunate staph infection on his elbow. Meaning we were waiting for his tilt with Omega at ‘Full Gear’ since the end of May.

And the build-up did not disappoint.

Forgive us for saying so, but Moxley threw everything but the kitchen sink at Omega in their unsanctioned match. Hell, he probably considered stashing an actual kitchen sink under the ring last night. Don’t get it twisted, Omega would have done the same.

In the end, the former WWE champion dropped ‘The Cleaner’ on his head–and on an uncovered part of the ring–for the pin which allowed him to truly confirm what he was saying all along.

He is the pure definition of unscripted violence.

If his NJPW stint wasn’t enough to convince you that Dean Ambrose was dead, and Jon Moxley had officially taken over, last night put Ambrose to bed for good.

In all honesty, he can have an incredible match with anyone on the AEW roster–yes, even Peter Avalon. If we had to pick one person for him to tussle with, we’d go with Darby Allin. As they did when Allin faced-off against Cody, there is a possibility here for both men to come out looking good when it’s all said and done with Moxley ultimately getting the win.
