Shawn Spears (3-2) vs. Joey Janela (2-3)

Janela attacked spears before their ring gear was off, but as Janela went for a cannonball off the apron, Spears caught him and powerslammed him to the floor. Back in the ring, both men started to exchange chops. Spears started to work over him with some basic offense before throwing Janela right over the top rope to the floor.

Spears took Janela and tied his hair to the tag rope before working him over in the corner. Janela tried to get out but got pulled back. Janela brought himself over the top rope and pulled his hair out. However, Spears locked on a Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. Janela made the ropes and then managed to hit a superkick.

Janela stomped Spears in the corner and hit a running knee in the corner. Spears rolled to the outside and Janela hit a flipping senton off the top rope to the floor on Spears. Janela went to the top rope, but Spears cut him off and hit a suplex for a 2 count. Janela managed to hit a suicide dive on Spears and then kicked him in the chest back in the ring.

Janela hit a lariat to the back of Spear’s head and then hit a suplex for a 2 count. Tully got onto the apron to distract Janela and gave Spears enough time to cut Janela off and hit a sidewalk slam on the turnbuckle. Spears ripped off one of the corner pads, but the ref saw it and put the pad back.

Spears took this opportunity to hit a spike piledriver with Tully on the floor. Spears then hit the C4 (Death Valley Driver) for the pinfall victory on Spears.

Result: Shawn Spears

Rating **1/2 (2.5 stars)

Spears smiled and directed traffic to the ring as the medics checked on Janela.
