PAC is eventually able to stop his momentum with a thunderous lariat.

He then sets up Omega on the top rope for appears to be a top rope suplex, but in mid-air is able to turn it into a Michinoku Driver. HE DID THE DEAL!!! But, somehow, Omega kicks out. How could he

PAC hits the top to hit the Brutalizer, but Omega ets out the way just in time. He hits a V-Trigger, then sets up One Winged Angel, but PAC wiggles out of it, turns it into a headlock which Omega reverses into a crucifix pin, PAC tries to roll out of it, but Omega turns it into an Oklahoma victory roll for, you guessed it, the victory!

Grade: B+

Felt like a taste of what’s to come between these two rather than the bonafide PPV worthy main event worthy contest it was promised to be, but still, good stuff.

MJF (w/ Wardlow) vs. Hangman Page – Winner Gets a Diamond Ring

MJF works on Page’s left elbow early on, sending us into the quick commercial.

Back from the break, Page eventually recovers with a suicide dive. Then goes for a diving moonsault off the top rope. Sets up a Buckshot Lairat in the ring, but uses the ref as a shield before eye poking Page. He runs at Page to capitalize, but Page hits a big lariat for a two count. He goes for the Buckshot again, but MJF blocks it. MJF goes for the Heatseeker, but

Page goes for the pin, but Wardlow puts Page’s foot on the bottom rope. Page gets told by the crowd that Wardlow interfered, so he jawjacks with Wardlow behind the ref’s back while the ref tends to MJF. Wardlow punches Page in the mouth behind the ref’s back. This allows MJF to hit a Cross Rhodes for the win and the ring!

After the match, Diamond Dallas Page is out to present the winner with the diamond ring. DDP begrudgingly gives it to MJF before saying MJF’s recent actions have been disappointing, but tonight is his night and he’s the man. As the “bigger man,” he offers a handshake, but denies it. They get in each other’s face before MJF’s bodyguard gets in his face instead, choking out hte elderly man before getting separated by refs and security.
