In the ring, Dustin Rhodes is interviewed about Jake Hager. He says after Hager broke his arm, he is going to gun for blood next time he sees him.

Santana, Ortiz, and Sammy Guevara blindside Rhodes from behind. Rhodes fights back the best he can, but the heels take the numbers advantage.

The Young Bucks (with Matt Jackson making his return from injury) make the save. Superkick trio to Sammy.

After that segment, we get a video package hyping up The Dark Order as a cult.

Chris Jericho (c) vs. Scorpio Sky – AEW Championship

Main event time!

Lockup to start that Jericho quickly rolls out of it to flex his muscles (or lack there of). Another lockup. This time, Jericho puts Sky in a headlock and shoulder blocks him a few times. Goes for a clothesline

Piscado attempt that Jericho evades, but Sky lands on his feet to hit a single leg dropkick. Sunset flip back in the ring for a two count, followed by a diving back elbow from Sky. Sends Jericho to the corner, runs at him, but Jericho sends him to the apron. Sky attempts a springboard headscissors, but Jericho tosses him back out the ring with a dropkick.

Back from commercial break, both men are down in the middle of the ring. After fighting for the advantage on each other, Jericho locks in the Walls of Jericho until Sky forces a break after grabbing the ropes. Sky recovers by locking in a Dragon Sleeper. During which Jake Hager (who was barred from ringside) hits the ring. Sky takes him out before getting rolled up for a two count.

Sky is able to eventually hit his TKO finisher for the nearest of near falls you can imagine. Hurricanarana off the top rope, then an enzuigiri for a two count. Jericho eventually gets a Codebreaker counter for a nearfall. He runs at Sky, who backslides him for a two count. Jericho gets another Walls of Jericho in and this time, Jericho gets him to tap to retain. After the match, Jericho goes to attack Sky, but Moxley arrives from the crowd to staredown Jericho.

Moxley slowly creeps his way to the ring to send us off the air.

Grade: B+

Good sign of things to come. Sky looked like a million bucks. Gonna be a staple of the main event scene when his day comes but today is not his day.

Next. AEW: Three potential rivalries for Kenny Omega. dark

Overall Grade: B+

Fun Show.
